Windsor Back in the Day

The International Metropolis blog which features lots of photos from both the Windsor and Detroit side of the Detroit River has recently had a lot of historical pictures from downtown Windsor from the 1940s and 1950s such as above. Back then Windsor, like Detroit and many other older cities had a lively downtown retail scene and street cars running through the streets. I hope that future growth in Windsor will bring those days back. Click on the photos for more.
